Nou (Now)

My obsessions in the present moment are...

• Leading high-performance engineering at Liberty IT / Liberty Mutual in service of our commercial insurance business.
• Working towards consolidating all my existing writing on erichfw.co.za.
• Building Yebokola offering in support of the love-centered leadership movement.
• Supporting Active Hope community in Ireland. Our next retreat is April 2025! Super excited to be holding the preliminary session. I am also looking towards putting my tech skills in service of the community.
• Serving in Finance and Youth Committee at South Belfast Quaker Meetings.
• Imagining a community peace project at South Belfast Quaker Meetings.
• Attend Samatha Buddist Meditation class on Monday evenings.
• Sit in sacred silence alongside Friends at South Belfast Quaker Meetings on Sundays mornings.

My developmental focus area in 2025 is coaching and communication skills. I am approaching this as follows:

• Working to complete Certificate in Leadership Coaching: Systems Approaches with Eco-Leadership Institute.
• Working to complete Diploma in Vertically Developmental coaching with Harthill.
• Leveling up my communication skills with Vinh Giang on his Stage Academy.
• Currently considering membership to Belfast Toastmasters club to practice my public speaking skills.
• Completing 50 pro-bono coaching hours! I would love to be part of your developmental journey. If this interests you, contact me.
• Member of Association of Coaching. Working towards a coaching accreditation.

Net Nou (Next)

In my native Afrikaans, people say "net nou." This roughly translates to "just now" and points to the emerging moment that follows the current one. I'm starting to explore the following opportunities...

• Write more blog posts.
• Hoping to buy a new home! I am ready to transition away from apartment living, and I hope a house invites new possibilities.
• Hope to go on a 10-day vipassana retreat this year!
• Starting to make video content for my blog and social media.
• Hoping to complete 100 probono coaching hours!
• Hoping to grow the Inner Development Goal community in Ireland; specifically the hub in Belfast, alongside Adriana Morvaiova.
• Exited about the possibility in hosting an Active Hope and Sacred Silence session alongside Ian Mitchell in Corrymeela in November.
• Pursue Executive Coach Accreditation with Accreditation with Association of Coaching.
• Putting intentions out there to do something cool with Kate Feltchher in 2026.

Nou nou (Later)

• Want to explore the benefits of engaging with the International Coaching Federation and EMMC.
• A PHD in organizational design.
• Really want to finish my CIMA qualification at some point.
• Write more! Maybe a book.
